Appointment of Australia’s new Ambassador to Ireland, Ms. Chantelle Taylor
Minister Penny Wong has announced the appointment of Australia’s new Ambassador to Ireland, Ms. Chantelle Taylor.
Ms. Taylor is a senior career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade who has previously served overseas as Acting Australian Consul-General in Honolulu and at Australia’s High Commission in Ottawa.
We thank former Ambassador the Hon Gary Gray AO and outgoing Chargé d’Affaires Lachlan Crews for their contributions to advancing Australia’s interests in Ireland since August 2020 and September 2024, respectively.
We look forward to welcoming Ms. Taylor to Ireland in April.
